In 1995, Lincoln Medical Education Partnership in Lincoln, Nebraska and Region V of Nebraska saw a need to create a program for individuals and families who were struggling to cope with drug and alcohol addiction and had limited access to these types of services due to economic and medical situations. Over the years, Stepping Stones in Lincoln, Nebraska has continued to empower individuals and families by providing them with drug and alcohol counseling, mental health counseling, education, and support to encourage stability and healthy lives.
Through Stepping Stone’s mission, our team of licensed mental health professionals is committed to providing comprehensive behavioral health services and assistance beyond counseling and emergency services. We make sure that everyone, regardless of a person’s ability to pay, has access to all services that Stepping Stones offers. We also work closely with Lincoln’s area agencies to connect individuals and families with appropriate services in the community that will help them succeed in life.
